Mrs Margaret Heldman 21 of Lorain Ohio shot herself after confessing to slaying Vernard E. Fearn 35 coal dealer in Canton On December 2 Heldman pursued by her husband W O Heldman drove to Canton to surrender but killed herself en route Then she admitted illicit acquaintanceship with Fearn and the motive for revenge The sheriff had intended to question her in Lorain and learned of the case two days later

Bandits Fail at Eddy Bank Hold Up
Waco December 14 police report an attempted robbery of the National Bank at Eddy near here last night ended when crude tools failed against cement walls. The bank was robbed over a year ago by M. C. Wood Son who is now serving a 42 year term.
