Century Limited to Run Modern Train Sets From Chicago Plants
The Twentieth Century Limited will enter a new, modern era this summer with two 32 car sections built by Pullman-Standard in Chicago. Each section including a locomotive will cost about $2,000,000. The train will feature a new coupling system allowing smooth starts and stops and inter-car telephones.
