City expands land holdings near Westex Watersite Amarillo
City Manager N V Moss announced Amarillo purchased 670 acres near the Westex Watersite southwest of Bushland from Ervin Podzemny at 84 dollars per acre. The land lies a mile east and north of the watersite and is crossed by a 36 inch inflow line. Officials expect space for five or six wells and about one million gallons per day production per well.
