Lindbergh Beach Becomes France Coast Town Landmark
Saint Lo d’Qourville, a tiny coastal community, gains a Lindbergh beach after formal sanction from Charles Lindbergh himself. The name honors the Spirit of St Louis landing near Cherbourg, with Saint Lo's mayor and Le Bourget officials coordinating the tribute. The town aspires to rival Deauville and La Baule in seaside prominence. In Washington, a moon phase note claims weight appears marginally lighter at full moon due to gravity, though savings are theoretical, about nine pounds for a ship-sized object.
