K B Forsman master mechanic and foreman for United States Zinc died after a steel structural beam fell on him while unloading from a flat car near the smelter. He died about 11 at Northwest Texas hospital. Survived by widow a son Carl B Forsman of Portland and daughter Hulda Forsman Pueblo. Funeral plans pending arrival of daughter from Pueblo. Houston April 15 appointment of twenty eight district vice chairmen to run the Democrats of Texas drive for a dry national convention delegation with no negative instructions as to candidates was announced by Lynch Davidson state chairman. One Arrest in Hold-Up Case Is Made
Amarillo police hold one man and seek another in a hold-up last night. Howard Speer of Duncan Oklahoma lost 72 dollars near the American Railway Express and a railroad ticket was returned. Speer identified an Amarillo man who chatted with him at Rock Island depot and accompanied him to a cafe. He wore a cowboy costume and searched for the robbers into the morning.
