Fort Davis Indians played well with a 19 to 8 loss against Sterling City on the home field as 14 cars attended including the Fort Davis band directed by Johnny Iteaker. A wedding in Alpine featured Charles McNew and Miss Mary Lou Hencern with Mary Jane McNew playing the wedding marches. Phil Trammell, 42, of Post dies.

Local Man Dies After Electrical Accident
An accident Friday morning September 17 claimed the life of Mr. Trammell who was responding to an emergency with another worker. He touched both a transformer wire and a ground wire near a fence and died despite rapid emergency care. Survived by wife, two daughters, a son, and his mother all of Post, with family ties to Fort Davis.
