Fort Davis Study Club Opens 1951 Season With Meeting
The Fort Davis Study Club opened its 1951-82 season with a Tuesday meeting at the Public Library rooms. About forty attended as Mrs. [name missing] presided for the first time. The program featured discussions and a guest talk by Miss de Vescovi on fresco painting enhancements with Mexican collaborator Manuel Gonzales de la Vega, plus reports on library activities and local visitors from Marfa, Alpine, and Houston. Weather notes and university visits were also noted, along with upcoming events and refreshments.
