Farewell to an Old Ilano Home Before Lake Flooding
The Arnold family records their last visit to the oak log home built by Bill Arnold and his wife. Soon the Hamilton dam flood will bury the site under thirty seven feet of water, ending an era of frontier life. The seven Arnold sisters gathered for a reunion to witness grave removals and recall Indian raids and pioneer days. The Denver family heirlooms and memories are preserved as the area prepares for progress and a park may host future reunions.
