Alpine Women Return From Eastern Star Convention
Four Alpine women returned Saturday night from Houston where they attended the Grand Chapter of Texas Order of the Eastern Star convention. Mrs A B Sandifer served as official delegate accompanied by Mrs J W Ferguson, Mrs Gay Meriwether and Mrs W T Meriwether. F L Clark Injured After Fall on Brewster County Ranch

A new electric time and signal system costing 1145 has been installed at Sul Ross College. The governor clock sits in the library, guaranteed to within 28 seconds monthly. Four clocks in buildings including administration, gymnasium, library, and auditorium are synchronized hourly. The main clock uses electric current, not batteries, per E C Dailey of Phoenix.
