Marathon Community Notices and Local Sports Highlights
The Marathon Chamber distributed brochures to town businesses. In Kansas City Adams and Hooper entered Charolais cattle at the American Royal and Charolais Congress. Residents and visitors from Kerrville Alpine McCamey and Dryden attended events. The Marathon Study Club met October 6 to finalize yearbooks and announce Yard Beautification winners. The Marathon Mustangs beat Toyah 30 0 with Estrada Cavness connections and prep for Barstow homecoming. Marathon PTA plans October 18 meeting and Marathon FHA met October 4.
