VEW backs government support at fall convention
The Veterans of Foreign Wars VEW approved a resolution endorsing U S policy to win the war in Viet Nam. It called for unity behind the Commander in Chief, condemned left wing protest groups, urged FBI action on draft card burnings, and urged selective service reassessment and possible non combat drafting to support national goals.
