Cattle movements mix with hunting notes and letters from the field
Ranch notes describe cattle heading to feed lots and markets while calves head north. Local ranchers discuss hunting season openings and deer conditions. Letters mention Terlingua chili, Stars and Stripes clipping, and historical cattle deals, including Pete Kennedy paying 100 dollars for ten Hereford bulls in 1937.
