The PTA meets Monday night at 7 30 at Marathon High School study hall with third and fourth graders presenting. The Marathon Mustangs lost to Fort Davis 46 to 6 with Sam Cavness scoring the lone TD and injuring his ankle.

Big Bend Park Welcomes National Advisory Board Visit
National Paris Advisory Board members held their four day field meeting at Big Bend with a Sunday session and Wednesday departure. Park officials hosted tours for board wives on Monday and a cocktail party for Wirth and guests. The group toured Boquillas and Canyon areas, enjoyed a steak dinner at Rio Grande Village, and heard a Desert Gold narration before Wirth’s January resignation.
