Alpine High Student Council thanks citizens for the Spring Carnival success. Elections were held with Doris Lane as president and Tom Connor as vice president among other officers listed. Easter holidays begin, school to resume Tuesday morning.
The Alpine Community Center executive board met at 4 p.m. on Friday March 20 in the Center auditorium. President Alberto Rojo announced the resignation of long-time board member Mrs A M Turney. The center plans audits for June 1968 to December 1969 by Jim Clark of Sul Ross Faculty. Volunteers were sought to provide child care and transportation for a potential new program.
