Alpine Nets Three Of Four In Local Encounters
Alpine High School won three of four games against Fort Davis High School in Sul Ross gym. The Alpine volleyball teams, both A and B, won, while Alpine edged Fort Davis 30 to 13 in volleyball. The basketball B game went Alpine’s way 19 to 16 but the A game was lost 32 to 25. Alpine prepares to travel to Marfa for a conference contest with Blackwell Junior High, and Jan 31 is the poll tax deadline.
