Captain and Mrs. R. L. Kelly of Fort Carson Colorado announce the birth of a daughter Kristy Leigh born November 9 1969. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Young III of Hurst and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kelly of West also Mrs. Annie Young of Alpine and Mr. and Mrs. J. Stovall longtime Presidio residents now in Fort Worth. Great great grandmother is Mrs S. J. Kicspadden of Marfa age 101.

Hernandez Rites Held In Sanderson For 78 Year Old Resident
Julian Hernandez died January 2 at Brewster Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Graveside rites were held January 4 at Santa Rita Cemetery in Sanderson. Hernandez born January 9 1891 in Mexico lived in Sanderson 42 years was a retired laborer and Catholic. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Mr and Mrs W T Meriwether flew to Puerto Vallarta to join Malone V Hill for a few days in the resort.
