Holiday gatherings fill Big Bend Park with guests and carols
Big Bend Park residents recount a festive holiday season from Panther Junction to Rio Grande Village. Fourteen couples rode a hay wagon to carol campers, followed by a New Year Eve party at the Community Room. Families from Austin Alpine and Sul Ross University members stopped by, with open houses, punch, cookies, and musical entertainment marking 1970’s arrival.
