Central Girls End Season With 10 Wins After Close Alpine Finish
Central 8th grade girls beat McCamey 20 to 12 in their final game, finishing the season 10–3. Debbie Kinzie and Bonnie Pattillo scored 8 each. Caren Coriis averaged 7.2 points per game. Officials praised Alpine’s zone defense and Central guards led by Pat Ramey, Nancy Lewis, Rebecca Newbill, and Martha Sprott. The team posted a 22 point per game average and held opponents to 16 per game.
