Fowler Fare by Wick Fowler
Sclientists claim in Mian that mosquitoes bite skinny people more often than fat ones. May be Jackie Gleason will gain back the 70 pounds he lost. Those jumbo jets that carry 447 passengers have created a man power problem for hijackers. It would take at least 6 hijackers to take one of the jets to Cuba. Now that the Southwest Conference has granted its member colleges an 11-game football schedule you can look for an increase in the 40-hour week for football players. The newly organized Governors Commission on Status of Women will ask the next legislative session for money. This is nothing new in the status of women, is it, fellows. A Soviet newspaper says the typical Russian boss is stuck with a slow, matronly secretary who spends hours of the phone. Shocks, it takes hours to find a phone in Russia. There is a rumor that the cost of living survey on beef uses the auction sales of champion live stock at fat stock shows.
