New Equipment Boosts Sanderson Marathon Phone Line
Mr. C H McAdams owner of the Marathon telephone system traveled from Sanderson this week to report incoming material for a long distance line from Sanderson to Marathon. Black diamond poles and double lines of metallic copper wire will improve connections with eastern states. A standard toll line from Sanderson to Fort Stock to D W Collins is under construction. Cattle shipments and local visits are noted amid a busy town scene. The report also mentions an execution sale notice and a Parent Teacher Club meeting at the school auditorium.
