Baby Hurt As Cars Collide At Fifth Street Corner
An 18 month old baby of Mr and Mrs Wiesil Miller was badly cut by glass when two cars collided at Fifth Street and College Ave late Monday afternoon. Mrs Miller driving north on Fifth Street, Mack Sanders from Los Angeles was in the other car. The Miller car toppled onto its side, rear windows shattered, baby treated for a forehead cut after stitches. Both cars sustained considerable damage. sun glare was blamed for reduced vision.

Ten Colleges Adopt Athletic Rules in Regional Conference

Sheriff Sells 366 Lots in Shipman Addition
About 266 lots previously owned by Rubell and Youngblood in the Shipman addition were disposed of at a sheriff's sale for foreclosure Tuesday afternoon. Russell Youngblood of Mt Pecos bid on the property. Foreclosure proceedings were instituted by Mrs. Annie B. Chittim of San Antonio. The Shipman addition lies just north of Orient station.

Contract Let For $6,000 Residence
R. 8. Tyler was awarded the contract this week for a $6,000 modern home to be built by R. J. Ratti, member of Sul Ross faculty, on College Hill just east of the Clay Hod and home. The structure will be of hollow tile, stuccoed, Spanish mission design and will contain six rooms and bath. The home will be equipped with a heating plant. It is expected that the building will be finished in ten weeks, according to the text.

Red Cross Fund Drive Sees New Contributions Reported
Funds raised in the Red Cross drive total a little over 100 dollars with about 14 dollars from the Junior Red Cross at the High School.
