Fort Davis High School and Junior High School will hold graduation ceremonies on Friday May 21. Hugh Stiles reports the event marks the completion of the school year with graduates invited to attend in formal attire.

Fort Davis Bary Scobee Mountain was dedicated Saturday and likely the only Texas peak named for a living person. Gov. Connally had signed an executive order honoring Scobee, then a bill barred future sites for living individuals. Barry Scobee, 76, historian and justice of the peace, learned of the designation at the ceremony led by John Ben Shepperd.
The State of Texas to Clara Wilson is commanded to appear before the 83rd District Court in Alpine on the first Monday after 42 days from June 7 1965. Plaintiff Daron K. Wilson seeks divorce custody of minor children and division of community property with real estate and personal property. If not served within 90 days, the citation will be returned unserved.
