Two Deer Found With Locked Horns in Sunny Glen
Brewster County Sheriff Jim Skinner found two deer with horns locked during a fight five miles northwest of Alpine. One deer was dead and the other, about three to four days locked, was freed after Sheriff Skinner and deputies used a saw to separate the horns. The live deer weighed over 150 pounds with a 10 point spread. the dead deer showed extensive dragging. Fred Slight of Del Rio visited relatives here last weekend.
