Fireman Tubbs badly burned. Afternoon at Mullen a head end freight collision destroyed twelve cattle cars with no deaths.

Monday drew about 10 000 people to Alliance for The World and His Wife show. crowds arrived by train from all roads and merchants reported strong business while one arrest for disorderly conduct was recorded. The show grossed around 7200 with expenses about 5000 for the day.
