Hotline promotes Insure Kids Now for SCHIP enrollment

The US HHS and NGA launched a toll free Insure Kids Now hotline 1877 KIDS NOW to enroll eligible children in SCHIP funded health coverage. South Carolina’s SCHIP was approved Feb 18 and aims to insure about 75,000 children via state agencies routed by NGA. Secretar y Donna Shalala praised SCHIP as a major health effort for kids.
