Amber Room to be unveiled at St. Petersburg celebration
The Amber Room, looted during World War II and reconstructed over a quarter century, will be opened by Putin and Schroeder for 47 world leaders at St. Petersburg's 300th birthday event in May and to the public in June. The project received funding from the Soviet government and Germany's Ruhrgas.
