Moore Seeks Control as S C Prisons Face Lockdowns
Columbia SC Corrections Director Michael Moore urges strict rules to run prisons amid rising tensions after a recent inmate uprising. Moore cites safety, regimentation, and rehabilitation as aims, while Gov Beasley’s policy pushes back against leniency.
