County Council OKs funding for Nutgrove drainage project
The Aiken County Council approved final readings for a Nutgrove basin flood control project in North Augusta. Funding will come from county, city, state, and FEMA matching dollars totaling about 165000, with remaining state revenue to address Wise Hollow basin floods. Construction starts this month on Nutgrove and nearby streets, while future funds may tackle Wise Hollow repairs.
