Med School Merger Suggested for South Carolina
A Blue Ribbon Committee report on medical education in South Carolina proposes merging the two state medical schools. The findings were presented to the state Commission on Higher Education and referred to the Health and Medical Education Committee for review. Chairman Fred Sheeheen called for early evaluation as the commission plans to discuss the report next month.
