International trade forum to be held in Aiken region
The Aiken Chamber of Commerce and the University of South Carolina Aiken will host a basic exporting seminar in June. The event, co sponsored by Palmetto Economic Development Corporation and Aiken Electric Cooperative, targets local manufacturers farmers and service firms exploring exports and export financing. Attendees include reps from the South Carolina Department of Commerce US Department of Commerce JEDA and SBA plus an overview of a mentoring program by the District Export Council. The half day session covers experiences lessons learned and available resources.
