Rain Delays Rutland York Street Intersection Upgrade

Multiple thefts and a assault case reported in local blotter

A woman alleged kidnapping and assault shift from Aiken to Greenville after two suspects abducted her from a Hampton Street address. Augusta Family YMCA targets Aiken branch effort

Patsy Donath, hired by the Augusta Family Y, coordinates a 20 member steering group to push a new Aiken YMCA. Children's Place Celebrates Celebrity Waiter Successes

An 18 year old Aiken resident Santana Bean receives a $250 scholarship funded by this year's Celebrity Waiter Night at Children's Place. Over $52,000 was raised this May to aid former students pursuing college or technical school degrees. North Augusta man charged after truck break in and larceny

Emanuel Lawayne Cail, 18, of West Hugh Street, was arrested on simple larceny and breaking into a motor vehicle after a West Martintown Road incident. Aiken County Bloodhound Team traced prints from a damaged Eckerds loading dock truck to Cail, who confessed and led police to the stolen cell phone location near his apartment.

Still Magnolias Calendar Raises Funds in Aiken

Last month marked the final entry for the 18 month Still Magnolias calendar in June.
