Standoff Ends Quietly as Parole Warrants Lead to Surrender
A Suffolk Crossing resident, Douglas Ray, 51, held in a seven hour negotiation Friday after a parole violation warrant was served. He emerged and surrendered to Sheriff Michael Hunt around 1 pm. No new charges expected. Ray housed at the Aiken County Detention Center. Family members left the scene with reporters.
