Mardi Gras Ball Brings Arkenites to Festive Night

About 200 Arkenites attended the Mardi Gras Ball at the Fermata Club with green gold and purple décor. Hosts included Emily Ballard and Sally Bradley among others. New Orleans dishes and live music enhanced the event. King and Queen Bob Buchanan and Kay Bodenheimer were crowned, with detailed costumes and pageantry throughout the evening. A Sunday morning cleanup at the Fermata followed. Hunt Ball at Houndslake Country Club also featured a Valentine theme, with dinner, dancing, and guests from multiple states.
