Aiken City Council gave first reading to an ordinance allocating interest of 44130.28 from revenue sharing to match Friends of Hopeland Gardens funds for the Rye Patch Hopeland Gardens development. The meeting also approved buying a chemical sewer root treatment for 15580 plus tax with vaporopter equipment. bids were not invited due to a patent.
