Labor board drops high profile Boeing complaint
The National Labor Relations Board dropped its challenge to Boeing’s South Carolina plant after the Machinists union extended a four year contract and withdrew its charges. Under the settlement Boeing will build a new 737 in Washington state and the union drops retaliation allegations. Analysts note political scrutiny but say the case settles a dispute over where to locate work.
