Hardaway Golf Team Eyes Repeat At Southern Cross
Hardaway High of Columbus Georgia faces 33 rival teams as it defends the Southern Cross title after winning last year by 16 shots. Coach Larry Gaither notes field-trip ruling changes allow the team to compete while on a school-approved learning excursion. Key players include John Hammond and Mike Miller with Wright Waddell and Carter Mize adding depth. The squad aims to repeat despite tougher field.
