Two giant pandas Le Le and Ya Ya drew hundreds at the Memphis Zoo on their first public appearance on loan from China for a 10 year term. Ya Ya rolled and nibbled bamboo while Le Le stood with visitors jostling for photos. The event highlighted a conservation project aiding panda protection in China.
