Stokes Named Byng School Superintendent Next Fall
Marvin W. Stokes will succeed Jess Teague as Byng High School superintendent next fall. Teague retires after 39 years heading the consolidated district north of Ada. Bill Keller will become principal, replacing Stokes. Stokes, Byng's principal since 1944, grew the school from 300 to about 800 students and expanded the math and science program through a competitiveness driven system.

Hall Posts Success With New Elbow Rye
