Isaacs Killed In Vietnam Combat
Funeral services were held in Phenix City Alabama for 1st Lt. Royal George Isaacs Jr. who died Friday April 23 in Vietnam from a gunshot wound to the chest after being struck by small arms fire on patrol. It was his second tour of duty in Vietnam with a prior six months in 1963. he leaves wife Shirley.
