Indian attack in Taraca river leaves two American soldiers dead
Captain David P. Wheeler and Corporal Percy Heyvelt of the Twenty second Infantry were stabbed by natives while reconnoitering along the Taraca river. Wheeler died and Heyvelt was fatally wounded.
