Two Area Students Named National Merit Semifinalists
Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center honorees Daniela R. Zuniga Sacks of Albion High School and Mackenzie P. Banister of Marshall High School join 16,000 nationwide semifinalists in the 58th National Merit Scholarship Program. They advance toward about 8,300 scholarships worth over 32 million dollars, with Zuniga Sacks also named a National Hispanic Recognition Program scholar for 2012 2013.
