Wayne Mead memorialized at County Farm Park rock tribute
The late Wayne Mead of Marshall, supervisor of the Malletts Creek restoration project, was honored Sept 22 at County Farm Park in Ann Arbor with a rock and plaque. His wife Cathy spoke of his dedication and urged greater workplace safety after his Dec 20 death at age 58 in an on-site accident. The memorial, funded by Mead Brothers Excavating and Washtenaw County Parks, sits at the park’s northern entrance.
