Second Marshall candidate forum attracts 30 to 40 attendees
The Marshall Area Busi ness Association and Chamber hosted their second political forum on Sept. 25 at Schuler's Pub hearing from Calhoun County, state and national candidates. Incumbent Susan Mladenoff highlighted budget cuts and mandated duties while opponent David Gilbert criticized leadership in the prosecutor's office. Sheriff candidates Matt Saxton and Brad Palmer discussed a team approach across agencies to address gang problems and community safety.
