The Joseph R. Scalf Memorial Scholarship event took place July 22 at the Marshall County Club. The committee thanks hole sponsors prize donors participants and donors to the scholarship fund at the Marshall Community Foundation. Albion artist competes in 2012 Art Prize
Nobel Schuler from Albion submitted a pencil drawing titled Oneness of Humankind for the 2012 Grand Rapids Art Prize. The 4 by 24 feet piece features hundreds of thousands of pencil marks and took more than six months to finish. It can be viewed through Oct 7 on the Huntington Bank second floor near the B O B with voting at artprize.org.
