Marshall man arrested after beating girlfriend

A 47 year old Marshall man was arrested for domestic assault and interfering with a crime after his 30 year old girlfriend called 911 on Sept. 10 at 8 40 p.m. Officers found visible injuries on the victim and located the suspect on the riverwalk behind Riverside Pub. He admitted to assaulting her and taking her phone. Both were transported to Calhoun County Jail.
