Hamlin Leads Marshall High Pool Legacy and Team
John Hamlin became Marshall High School pool coordinator in 1984 when a missing pool left a floor gap. He oversaw the new pool opening in 1985 and has coached both girls and boys programs, producing state finalists and fostering a long Marshall Albion rivalry with Harper Creek. Hamlin notes swimmers’ improved conditioning and training while reflecting on his decades as a coach and former Milan and Adrian College competitor.
