Marshall Main Street status could shift after restructuring
The Marshall City Council voted 4-0 to change the reporting line for Main Street Manager Diane Larkin to report to City Manager Tom Tarkiewicz, replacing the prior reporting to the Downtown Development Authority chair. Mayor Jim Dyer warned this could affect Michigan Main Street status and said meetings with the state are planned in October to seek written clarification.
