Marshall Historic Home Tour Highlights Depot Museum and Capitol Hill School
The Marshall event features a renovated depot museum by Dick Walters Jr with a back portion kept for storage and a 2008 museum setup including signs, memorabilia, and murals by David McKee. It also spotlights Ken and Lyne Wirtz’s 180th anniversary home, an 1887 octagon building, and Capitol Hill School, tied to Civil War reenactments and ongoing restoration funded by a 2010 Scenic Byways program with future roof and floor repairs planned.
