Preparations underway for the Marshall United Way drive for 2012 13 with a September 11 kickoff breakfast at 7 30 a m at Marshall United Methodist Church. Co chairs Annette Campau and Barbara Rosene join Executive Director Patricia Franke. RSVP at 269 781 3325.
The Marshall Community Foundation awards a 5000 dollar grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters to re establish and grow mentoring programs in Marshall Public Schools. The funds support rebuilding efforts across three elementary schools and the creation of a community board with stronger local engagement.
The Marshall District Library board will meet Tuesday September 11 at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room. Future meetings are scheduled for October 9 and typically the second Tuesday each month at 7 p.m. Public access is provided at 124 West Green Street, Marshall ML.
