Albion District Library Friends seek to expand circle and roles
The Albion District Library Friends group, about 100 members, volunteers in reshelving and GED programs, assists with fundraising events such as the annual book sale with AAUW during Festival of the Forks, the chili dinner for AlbionREADS with the Albion Lions Club, and the Non-Ball held on non-day. Funds support Dolly Parton Imagination Library, traveling exhibits, summer reading, and equipment upgrades. Interested residents can pick up a membership form at the library at 501 S. Superior St., call 517-629-3993, or visit albionlibrary.org.
